Bitts Park hosts major roman reenactment

Roman cavalry troops are descending on Carlisle this weekend for the first time in 1,500 years. Bitts Park will play host to reenactments of authentic roman army drills

The Cavalry Charge showcase some of the exercises the Roman cavalry would have performed at sites across the Wall, many described by Hadrian himself.
