Flood-hit Cumbrian communities urged to come forward for funding

Nearly eighteen months after large parts of the county were left under water, funding is still available for flood-hit communities across Cumbria.

Cumbria Community Foundation's Flood Recovery Fund was set up in December 2015 in the wake of Storm Desmond.

The charity says there is money still to be allocated and people and community groups are being encouraged to apply.
