Nuclear unions are urging the Prime Minister to make "concrete commitments" about the new Moorside nuclear power station, ahead of her visit to Copeland.

Theresa May is visiting a school in Bootle today, ahead of the Copeland by-election.

In recent weeks the future of Moorside - which it's hoped will bring more than 21,000 jobs to the county - was thrown into doubt because of the financial troubles of one of the companies behind the plans.
