Dumfries hosts Synchronised Skating Championships
Hundreds of synchronised ice-skaters from around the world have been arriving in Dumfries for the Trophy D'Ecosse.
It's the sixth year the championships have been held in the town and will see around 50 teams competing over the weekend.
As well as attracting entries from countries like Canada and France, local skaters are also taking to the ice.
Entry into Dumfries ice-rink is free of charge for spectators and the competition will continue until Sunday evening.
