As well as attracting entries from countries like Canada and France, local skaters are also taking to the ice.

“We have lots of local interest in the Trophy D’Ecosse this year so you never know, we may see someone from Dumfries and Galloway skating at a future Winter Olympics.

" I look forward to strengthening our continued working relationship with the Trophy D’Ecosse and wish all competitors the best of luck in the event.”

– Councillor Ted Thompson, Dumfries and Galloway Council

Entry into Dumfries ice-rink is free of charge for spectators and the competition will continue until Sunday evening.
