Plans to build a £30million campus for two schools in Whitehaven have been submitted to the town council.

St. Benedict's and Mayfield School will both be based on the new campus, but will still run independently.

Work on the campus, which is funded by the council and nuclear site Sellafield, is set to begin in February next year - opening it's doors to students by September 2018.
