Three people arrested following theft at Solfest

Three people have been arrested following theft of cash, vouchers and a mobile phone from a tent at Solfest near Aspatria

The theft is believed to have occurred at some point between 2am and 11.30am on Friday August 26.

Following enquiries police have arrested a 36-year old man from Maryport, a 28-year-old woman from Maryport and a 25-year-old man from Whitehaven on suspicion of theft.

Police would like to appeal to festival-goers to ensure that they keep valuables on them and not leave them in an unattended tent.
