Police are urging motorists to take extra care around caravans and horse drawn vehicles as this year's Appleby Horse Fair comes to a close.
Many gypsies, travellers and visitors to the town are now leaving Appleby, and drivers are being warned to slow down.
The charity gave out a number of warnings to people at the Appleby Horse Fair, for "overworking" their horses in the hot weather.
Cumbria Police have praised everyone involved in this year's Appleby Horse Fair, which runs until 8 June.
