Cumbria Police renew appeal for Frizington armed robbery information

Three weeks after the armed robbery of a Post Office in Frizington, West Cumbria, Cumbria Police have renewed their appeals for information.

The robbery led to four arrests in connection with the incident, but all four men arrested have been released and 'eliminated from the investigation'.

The robbery occurred at approximately 6.14am on Wednesday 30th October 2015 at the post office on Main Street.

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Harwood:

Following our enquires after the incident took place police arrested three males in connection with the armed robbery. Two of the males were aged 20 and the third male was 23 years old. A further male was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and was aged 26. All four males have now been released and eliminated from the investigation.

Someone out there knows who is responsible for this robbery. I would urge anyone who knows anything about this crime to come forward. We need to get to the bottom of this for the victim's sake. Following our extensive and ongoing enquiries we believe we are close to tracing those responsible. This is a direct message to those involved in this crime, please see this as a chance to give yourself up and assist us with our enquiries.
