Border region hit by high winds and flooding

Many areas have been flooded, resulting in schools and roads being closed, and harming many businesses.

Cumbria County Council says 23 roads in Cumbria are currently closed due to flooding.

Cumbria has been hit by flooding and high winds, and the County Council has explained how it's acted to minimise the damage.
