Carlisle celebrates 10 year anniversary of 'Fairtrade City' status

It's ten years since Carlisle first became a fair trade city.

The anniversary is being marked today with a civic reception for the Carlisle Fair Trade group as well as schools and businesses involved with the scheme that sees areas commit to buying and selling fair trade goods.
