Father dies after falling from Helvellyn
A man has died after falling from Striding Edge in the Lake District, while walking with his son, on Saturday, June 20.

A father has died in a fall from a popular Lake District mountain route. The 59 year old was walking with his son on Helvellyn when the accident happened. Mountain rescuers say a number of walkers risked their own safety to help the man. Kate Walby reports.
