Five years since west Cumbrian shootings

Taxi driver Derrick Bird shot and killed twelve people in a gun rampage in west Cumbria five years ago today.

Another eleven victims were injured in the shootings.

No official memorial services are being held, but churches in the area have reminded people that their doors are open.
