The story of the 2009 Cumbria floods

This week marks the fifth anniversary of some of the worst flooding this region has ever seen. Thousands of people had their way of life turned upside down as a combination of very heavy rain and swollen rivers had devastating consequences on a wide area, from Cockermouth and Keswick to Appleby and Dumfries.

In Lookaround this week we'll be looking back at the disaster and finding how people have rebuilt their lives and sometimes their homes.
