Plans for Stobart Group's overhaul of Carlisle Airport have been approved. The proposals for were discussed at a special meeting today, Monday 18 August.
Plans to develop Carlisle Airport have been approved at a special council meeting.
Councillors voted in favour of the £20 million proposals by the Stobart Group - they want to increase freight and improve the runway.
It also means passenger flights from the airport may have moved a step closer.
