Carlisle Airport expansion given the go-ahead
Plans for Stobart Group's overhaul of Carlisle Airport have been approved. The proposals for were discussed at a special meeting today, Monday 18 August.

Plans to develop Carlisle Airport have been approved at a special council meeting.
Councillors voted in favour of the £20 million proposals by the Stobart Group for a freight distribution centre and revamped runway.
Campaigners who have been fighting the plans say they're disappointed but Julian Carr Chief Executive of Stobart Air told ITV News why it's good news for Cumbria:
