Renowned Longtown actor receives honorary award
Longtown's Simon Greenall has been back in the region to receive his honorary fellowship from the University of Cumbria.
Celebrated actor's 'great connection' with Carlisle
Simon Greenhall has told ITV Border that despite leaving his hometown of Longtown and the rest of Cumbria behind in 1982, he still has a "great connection" with Carlisle.
The actor, best known for his appearance in the 'Alan Partridge' series, has been back in the city to receive an honorary fellowship.
