Jim Clark Rally 'as safe as possible'

Organisers of the Jim Clark Rally say the event is 'as safe as possible' after three people were killed during the Scottish Borders rally yesterday.

Two men and a woman died when a car collided with spectators at Little Swinton near Coldstream at around 4pm on Saturday.

Alan Johnstone, Media Manager for Jim Clark Rally, said: "We try our best to get it as safe as possible. You'll never get it 100 percent by it's very nature."
