Castle Douglas' high street thriving

A report on Scotland's high streets has found that many are in crisis but one small town are bucking the trend.

Castle Douglas has a thriving high street, seeing visitors come from as far afield as the central belt to shop in it's range of independent shops.

The majority of the high street is made up of the unique retailers, proving a hit with Christmas shoppers.
