Kendal homes decision debated
Dozens of people have contacted Oakmere Homes after it was announced 148 homes are to be built on Oxenholme Road, Kendal. The decision has been challenged by the Triangle Opposition Group.
Campaign group speaks out against new housing plans
Dennis Reed is the chairman of TOC, a local campaign group against building on Greenfield sites.
Dennis lives nearby and says lapwings and crayfish will be endangered by a development on these strawberry fields and stream.
He also says there are brownfield sites and empty homes that could be developed instead.
