ITV Border's Local Hero attends Pride of Britain Awards

The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards took place at a glittering ceremony in London last night.

Among the awards presented was Local Hero which saw each of the ITV regions select a nominee.

Border's local hero was 19-year-old Jodie Vasquez from Carlisle who has a rare incurable condition but has raised over £11,000 for The Sick Children's Trust.
