This year ITV News is once again joining forces with the Daily Mirror to find the individual you think deserves to be crowned our Local Hero 2013.
Pride of Britain 2013: Nominations close tonight
It is your last chance to nominate somebody special for this year's ITV Local Hero Award. It is a way of saying 'thank you' to a person who has made a big difference to their community.
The winner will be announced at The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards in October.
Jonny Blair went to meet one previous finalist, who says it is an honour and a privilege to be nominated.
