People living in Cumbria and southern Scotland warned to expect more flooding in future
Several houses flooded in Newton Stewart
The fire service have confirmed that several houses have flooded in Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway.
It's after the River Cree burst its banks following heavy and persistant rainfall through out the day.
Several houses on Arthur Street are affected and the fire service are pumping water out.
