The day after announcing her retirement she has taken a silver at her last Paralympic event, the universal 4x100m relay.

The athlete from Newcastleton just missed out on gold in the S12 100m men's butterfly final. This is the fifth medal for athletes from our region at the Games.

The Newcastleton athlete won two golds at the Rio Paralympics and bows out after a heat race. Cumbrian shot putter Anna Nicholson was also in action.

Borders athlete and Paralympic medal winner Libby Clegg announces retirement

The athlete from Gordon won silver while competing in the women's T53 400m final. This is in addition to the bronze she won yesterday. 

Two medals in 24 hours for Borders athlete Sammi Kinghorn Tokyo Paralympics

The woman from Gordon took bronze in Tokyo today. This is her first medal at the Games and the third for people from our region.

The Newcastleton athlete was in the final of the S12 men's 100m freestyle where he picked up his second medal and broke his second record.

Second Paralympic bronze for Scottish Borders swimmer Stephen Clegg 

Cumbria, Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders are all being represented at the Games.
