Trees felled to stop spread of Larch Disease

Forestry Commission Scotland is working to minimise disruption, while it fells trees infected by Larch Disease in Galloway Forest Park.

The spread of larch disease in Galloway Forrest Park is hoped to have been slowed by last year's mild summer.

The Forestry Commission won't know the extent of the damage over the past year until spring time.

Work to fell as many of the infected trees as possible is ongoing.
