Carlisle's Matthew Pagan reaches BGT semi-finals with Collabro
Carlisle's Matthew Pagan has reached the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent with boy band Collabro.
The band had only been together a month when they first auditioned. From rehearsing in a room above a pub in London, they first faced the judges on Britain's Got Talent and got a standing ovation.
Now they will compete against 44 other acts in hope of winning public votes to reach the live grand final. The overall prize offers £250,000 and a coveted spot at the Royal Variety Performance.

Collabro's Matt Pagan: From Carlisle Panto to Britain's Got Talent
One month ago, Matt Pagan formed a classical boyband with four people he met through social media.
After a few weeks rehearsing in a room above a pub in London, they faced the judges on Britain's Got Talent - and got a standing ovation.
The last time the 20-year-old from Carlisle was on stage was when he played Snow White's Prince in the city's Christmas Panto.
The audience last Saturday was considerably bigger.
And now the bookies are putting his band, Collabro, among the favourites for this year's competition.
