Lamont would share platform with Cameron in 'No' campaign

Labour's Scottish leader Johann Lamont says she would share a platform with David Cameron in the campaign to keep Scotland in the UK.

At the weekend, the senior Labour MP Jim Murphy said the Tories were poison in Scotland and he would not appear with the Prime Minister to appeal for a no vote in September's independence referendum.

But in an interview with ITV's Representing Border programme Ms Lamont said while she fundamentally disagrees with the Conservatives on most policies, she will campaign with Mr Cameron to save the Union.

Viewers in Scotland who are watching on Freeview can see that interview in full, as well as more debate and discussion, in Representing Border on ITV at 10.35pm on Tuesday 14th January. Catch up on our website afterwards by clicking this link.
