Mixed views in southern Scotland as Conservative hold region amongst Labour landslide

While Labour secured a landslide victory across the United Kingdom there were mixed emotions on the streets of Dumfries as the Conservatives held all three seats in southern Scotland.

In Scotland, the SNP lost the vast majority of their seats amid a disappointing night for John Swinney's party.
