Body of woman found near lifeboat station in Silloth

The body of a woman has been found near the life boat station in Silloth.

The discovery was made at around 2:30pm on Monday (22nd August)

Police say inquiries are ongoing and that they're treating the death as unexplained, although it's not believed to be suspicious at this time.
