Cumbrian charity plants 10,000 trees in Nepal to support Covid hit communities
Report by Matthew Taylor
A man from Keswick is heading out to Nepal to help plant 10 thousand trees for local people. Former mountaineer Glenn Rowley will supervise and plant fruit and nut trees in a remote valley which the community there can harvest.
The project, run by the Juniper Trust, was inspired through Glenn's many trekking expeditions in the area over the past three decades.
