Part 1:

On this episode of Border Life, we begin an epic journey along what's officially Britain's oldest coast-to-coast pathway. 

The Southern Upland Way runs from the Irish Sea to the North Sea via some of the borderland's most spectacular scenery. Sandy McCracken has been to see it.

We continue our journey along Britain's oldest coast-to-coast path, taking in an historic brewery which has been a favourite with travellers for centuries.

Part 3:

In this programme, we meet an artist who challenges the laws of physics to make stunning glass sculptures, and set off on the final leg of our journey across Scotland on the Southern Upland Way.
