Lorry transporting salmon sheds load blocking road near Penrith

A main road in North Cumbria has reopened after a lorry transporting salmon shed its load.

The vehicle was travelling along the A6, near Penrith, when the contents of its wagon were spilled onto the carriageway.

Traffic was unable to pass through while the fish is removed from the road, but it has now reopened for vehicles.
