Police believe Penrith fire was 'started deliberately'
A fire at a property in Penrith may have been started deliberately, Cumbria police say.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service and police are investigating the blaze that broke out on King Street early, on Thursday morning.
A piece of property was alight outside a building housing a number of flats.
The fire was extinguished and nobody being hurt. The property's front door suffered some damage but police say the 'potential was there for it to be a more serious incident.'
