Inspector Andy Mather from the Road Policing Unit said: “This recovery has stopped a significant amount of drugs from reaching the streets of Scotland. We will continue our work to track down those involved in this type of behaviour and take action.

“We can’t tackle this issue alone. We rely on the support the public give us on drugs-related issues as this helps us gather intelligence that we can act on.

"I would urge anyone with information about drugs in their local communities to contact police through 101. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
