Representing Border - 03/07/20
On tonight's programme - we report from Eyemouth as the Scottish Borders Council faces more questions on the seven coronavirus related deaths at a care home it runs in the Berwickshire town. Peter MacMahon asks the Council leader Shona Haslam why it's taken more than a month to reveal the details of the outbreak in the home. And more questions too for the Scottish Government with new figures showing there have now been more Covid-19 related deaths across the country in care homes than in hospitals. We have the highlights of today's First Minister's Questions and commentary from Alex Massie of The Times and Joyce McMillan from The Scotsman.
