Comedian Rory Bremner speaks of the important role satire can play during the pandemic
ITV Border's politics programme Representing Border had a special guest on its latest episode, the comedian Rory Bremner.
The self-described 'stand-up chameleon' told our Political Editor Peter MacMahon about the important role satire can play while the country is in the grip of coronavirus.
Although he has been unable to go out to perform, he has been keeping a close eye on politics - in Scotland, Westminster and America - and says what he has seen has generated plenty of material for him to work with.
Among other things, Bremner gave us his take on the performance of First Minister Nicola and Prime Minister Boris Johnson and how each has handled the COVID-19 crisis.
And the comedian, who until recently lived in the Scottish borders, had a message from the Prime Minister and The President for ITV Border viewers.
You can see all of the lastest Representing Border episode, which also includes an interview with Scottish Tory leader Jackson Carlaw on the Prime Minister's under pressure adviser, Dominic Cummings, here.
