Man airlifted to hospital with serious injured after crashing into wall near Dunscore
A man has been airlifted to hospital after crashing into a wall in Dumfries and Galloway.
The incident happened on Monday at 10:20am on the B729 Dumfries to Carsphairn road, near Dunscore.
The 42-year-old was left with serious injuries after his white Nissan pick-up crashed into a wall by the side of the road.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment. No other vehicles or people were involved.
Dumfries and Galloway Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
Sergeant Leigh McCulloch said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances which led to this crash and I would ask anyone who may be able to help to come forward.
"Anyone who was on the road around the time of the crash or who may have dashcam footage is urged to get in touch with us as soon as they can."
