Your videos: Region thanks NHS workers with round of applause

The region has thanked NHS staff working hard through the coronavirus outbreak.

In a gesture of appreciation to frontline medical personnel and key workers, people across southern Scotland and Cumbria joined in on a mass round of applause from their doorsteps, windows and balconies.

Organisers of the "Clap For Carers" campaign - which started online - say it is being staged because "during these unprecedented times they [NHS staff] need to know we are grateful".
