Care home residents on lockdown send messages to loved ones

A care home in Dumfries and Galloway is making sure their residents keep up their spirits during the coronavirus outbreak.

Elderly residents at Burnfoot Hall and Coach House Care home, in Ecclefechen, sent heartwarming messages to their loved ones who can't visit.

The home was closed to members of the public last week to ensure the safety of the 57 people living there.

Pictures of the hand-written notes were posted on social media and have been shared hundreds of times.
