Farron is just one of many MPs told to stay away from Prime Minister's Questions over coronavirus.
In a statement he said: "I’m showing no symptoms myself and feel absolutely fine but it’s vital that we all follow the Government’s medical advice.
“Although I’ll be at home, I will continue to work just as hard to serve local people.
“I will also be replacing my regular face-to-face advice surgeries with telephone surgeries so I can carry on supporting local people at this difficult time – a full list of these surgeries can be found on my website https://timfarron.co.uk/en/page/advice-surgeries.”
It comes just one day after Tim Farron called on the government to give more support to businesses during the coronavirus pandemic.
