Missing Cumbrian backpacker believed to be in Fiji
A 23-year-old backpacker from west Cumbria who disappeared a week ago has been declared missing.
Cumbria Police are appealing for information to help in the search for missing Whitehaven woman, Lydia O’Sullivan.
She has been travelling for the past two years across the world, and is thought to have recently journeyed from Auckland - where she has been residing and working - to Fiji.
Lydia's family says she usually messages daily but has not been heard from since 28 February 2020.
She is 5ft tall with blue eyes, with long brown hair and a petite build.
Officers in Cumbria say they are in contact with police in Fiji, but ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the constabulary.
