5,000 houses affected by water supply problems Cumbria

Work is continuing to repair a water main in the Selside area that was damaged by Storm Ciara on Sunday.

Up to 5,000 homes in the Shap and the Eden Valley have had problems with access to water since Monday.

United Utilities says teams from all over the country are working to restore water or water pressure.
