Teenager taken to hospital after stabbing in Kendal
A 17-year-old boy has been stabbed in Kendal.
Police believe the teenager was attacked with a knife at 1:15pm on Sandylands Road on Monday.
He was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
Those involved are thought to have known one another and officers are currently in the area trying to gather information.
Two 18-year-old men, one from Kendal and one from Kirkby Lonsdale, are in police custody.
It is the second report of knife crime in the Cumbrian town in the last two days, after a 22-year-old man was stabbed on Sunday 19 January. The incidents are not believed to be linked.
