Police investigation after Melrose Rugby Club vandalised

A police investigation is under way after the changing rooms of new Super6 team, the Southern Knights, were vandalised at Melrose Rugby Club.

Over the weekend logos and signage for the new club were defaced with spray paint.

The introduction of the new semi-pro team at the Greenyards towards the end of last season split opinions in the community.

Their head coach says he's disappointed.
