Travel disruption after bus crashes into Borders Railway track
An investigation is underway after a bus crashed onto the railway line in Galashiels.
The vehicle left the road, smashed through the railings and landed on the track at at approximately 8pm.
Trains on the Borders Railway were cancelled, with replacement bus services running between Tweedbank and Gorebridge.
It's understood the single decker bus, operated by Borders-based firm Peter Hogg wasn't carrying any passengers at the time, and no one was injured.
Delays are expected today and the police have launched at investigation.
