Thousands raised in memory of Carlisle man who died in chimney tragedy
An appeal launched by the family of the man who died on Carlisle’s Dixon’s Chimney has raised more than £12,000 for a local mental health charity in less than a week.
The family of Phil Longcake launched an appeal asking people to donate to the mental health charity Mind after his death on Monday 28 October.
The city has been left shocked by the tragedy.
There have been numerous tributes paid to the popular 53-year-old.
Michael Boaden, a Spokesperson for Carlisle Eden Mind spoke to ITV Border.
