Teenager dies in crash north of Carlisle
A Carlisle teenager has died after a crash near Rockcliffe, in Cumbria.
Gavin Anthony Helps, aged 17, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services were called at around 5:10pm after reports of a one car crash, near the railway bridge.
Two other passengers and the driver, a 17-year-old male from Cumbria, suffered minor injuries and were taken to the Cumberland Infirmary.
Mr Helps was a passenger in the red VW Polo.
Family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Police ask for anyone with information, or dashcam footage of the car in the area of North Carlisle & Kingstown, to contact 101.
