500 runners take part in RAF Spadeadam half-marathon
Video report by Hannah McNulty.
More than 500 runners have taken part in a half-marathon at RAF Spadeadam, in Cumbria.
The event raises money for the RAF Benevolent Fund which provides financial, practical and emotional support to serving and former members of the RAF – regardless of rank – as well as their partners and dependents.
It's now in its 100th year and pledging to double the number of people it supports to 100,000.
The trail takes runners around the historic base that was part of the UK's missile project during the Cold War.
