Police hunt wanted man in Carlisle area

Cumbria Police are trying to trace to a man who is wanted for recall to prison.

Stephen Dixon, aged 33, is believed to be in the Carlisle area.

Officers are conducting inquiries to locate him and would like the public’s help in finding him. Any persons found assisting Dixon may face criminal proceedings.

An appeal for information on Dixon’s whereabouts was broadcast on the BBC’s Crimewatch Roadshow today.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101 and ask to speak to an officer in the North Cumbria Crime and Safeguarding Team. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111
