Thousands take part in Carlisle Half Marathon
More than a thousand runners took to the streets of Carlisle to take part in a half marathon and other races.
They all started and ended at Carlisle United's Brunton Park. Many of those running today were able to hit their personal best times thanks to the ideal conditions.
Supporters lined the route through villagers and at the finish line in the stadium.
People were running to raise money for a variety of causes. The race comes a month before the Great Cumbrian Run.
