Carlisle bus station closed following a roof falling from a nearby building

Carlisle bus station has been closed due to a roof falling from a building in the area on Lonsdale Street.

The fire service are currently assessing the building and Cumbria County Council have also been contacted.

Nobody is reported to have been injured.

UPDATE: The station has now reopened.
